Honestly? After my initial excitement for her, my next thought was, What about my routine? What about the progress I’ve been rebuilding? I had just started feeling like myself again, and I was afraid that saying yes to this trip would throw everything off track.

But here’s the thing: some moments matter more than perfect consistency.
